Griffin has been waving his arms lately. I think he's trying to fly.
I've been trying to convince him to wave or clap his hands but he's not convinced. He just looks at me like I'm crazy.

Griffin gives us some good laughs. Sometimes we're not sure who is entertaining who though.

Griffin has a bunch of new sounds. He's just started making a "da" and "ja" sound. He also goes "Mmmm" and "FFFFssshhh" a lot.

It can be quite humorous to watch Griffin eat. It's amazing that anything makes it into his mouth.

Griffin loves him some toast. If I look away for a few seconds, he'll cram all of the little pieces I put on his tray into his mouth. Same with watermelon and pear. I suspect he prefers his dad's feeding tactic, seen below.
Griffin likes to crawl with a ball in one hand and a block in the other or a ball in both hands. You can see a glimpse of it here.

Here are some more Griffin sounds. I'm working on "Mama" but he's not there yet!

Griffin has a new sound. You can hear it here. You can also see how much he dislikes avocado!

I got these lovely roses for Mother's Day from Stroller Strides. I'm such a sucker for the multicolored roses. The fuschia and white Double Delights are probably my favorite. I'm not sure what these are, but I enjoyed looking at them on my kitchen counter all week.

I mean, really? Who could resist this adorable face. I'm going to be in trouble when he learns how to ask for things. Sigh.

This video was taken a few weeks ago. Today, he stood on his own two feet for a minute or so. He's adept at getting around now. Rolling over, sitting up, leaning... he can go where he wants to go now. If I don't shut the door or block of the entrance to a room, he's off!

The flowers have been amazing this year! Hundreds of lilies. I'm so pleased that last year's landscaping project turned out so well. The iceberg roses have exploded as well.
