I noticed some bloggers have been challenging themselves to actually complete a project inspired by something they saw on Pinterest. I decided to give it a go. My sister-in-law has a passport with many, many stamps in it and she often sends fun and interesting postcards to my son. We needed a place to display them and when I saw this alphabet board on Pinterest, I had to replicate it.
I think it's super cute! I put it in the mudroom so we could all enjoy looking at the postcards. The metal pan was $9.99 from Autozone. We used a $3.99 can of brake cleaner to clean off the grease. Matt hung it with a couple of screws. Ta da!! Now all I need is more magnets.

Dazed and confused
Mula!
The whole family is getting in on this yoga thing. Aunt Liz and Daddy were practicing their handstands when Griffin decided to give it a try.

Sleepy Boy
The day after we returned from Christmas Vacation, we headed to the grocery store to refill the pantry. G fell asleep in the car, stayed asleep as I carried him into the store and stayed asleep like this for about 20 more minutes while I grocery shopped! He must have been exhausted!

Word book
He knows most of the words in this book, although his pronunciation is still off on some of them!

Jungle Book
We bought the Jungle Book DVD this week. Griffin doesn't have the attention span to watch the whole thing but he was mesmerized by the elephant marching scene. We watched it over and over and over again.

Singing Sensation
Someone in our family is an amazing singer. I won't name names but you can see here that Griffin really enjoyed her singing. He clapped, swayed back and forth, danced, sung along, and made the sign language motion for "More" when she finished singing. It was delightful!

Future Racer or Just like Dad
Griffin was delighted to help Dad and the crew in the garage a few weekends ago. Endless fun! He found lots of nuts and bolts and hid them in nooks and crannies for Dad to find later. The race car had some problems at the track this weekend. I hope it wasn't because of an errant bit of metal Griffin hid somewhere!

Choo choo
You can hear Griffin say "Choo choo!" here. Sorry it's so long. I'm so bummed that my editing software died on me. I guess that's what you get for a $120 video camera.

Peanut butter
Griffin tried peanut butter this weekend. He didn't like it at first but then Matt showed him how to dip his goldfish in the peanut butter. I think he ate about 1/8th of a teaspoon! Maybe it'll grow on him. He also learned to say "ME" this weekend. We were at our neighbor's pool and he kept saying "Me!" when he wanted Daddy to hand him something.

Griffin's new word and pajama races
Griffin learned to say "Go!" this weekend! You can see it here. We're playing with our makeshift race track.

Memorial Day
Our neighborhood had a Memorial Day parade. Griffin enjoyed his friends, Abby and Ava, and the neighbor's rabbit. In a stroller. Yes, I said a rabbit. In a stroller.
