Kids these days...It's never to early to start teaching them about computers. Now if I could just get the sticky yogurt off my keyboard.

Aunt Elizabeth
It was a sad day when Aunt Elizabeth left, but at least she got some snuggles on the ride to the airport.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday. G wanted to pick up all the pumpkins and was very curious as to what was behind the giant scarecrow.

The new house
It's a bit "over decorated" so you'll have to imagine it with a lot less stuff.
Tuscan Ridge, Southlake, TX:
Beautiful custom home on premier lot (greenbelt) in Tuscan Ridge. Shows like a MODEL home with upgrades galore! Rich entry shows beautiful archways, handscraped hardwood floors, hand troweled walls and stately columns. Custom trim, fabulous kitchen, all granite countertops and plantation shutters throughout. Wine room, beautiful built-ins in dining room and family room with extensive lighting. Award winning Carroll Schools. Don't miss this beauty!!

More new skillz
Griffin's got another new skill. He can point now. He's got a new word, too. It sounds kinda like "Heather" if you had a mouthful of cotton balls. "Hed jur" maybe? He's "talking" to me all day long now. He also says something that sounds like "Whatisit?" if you said it really, really fast.

Parking garage
Griffin got a Little People parking garage yesterday. He's enjoying it so far, as you'll see here. He giggled every time the cars came shooting out the bottom.

Bulldozing
Griffin got this bulldozer for his birthday. He was quite resistant to sitting on it at first, preferring to just push it around. He's warmed up to sitting on it as you can see here.

Tummy pats
Griffin has been slapping his tummy this week. He'll do it when he's really excited or if one of us does it first. It's been hard to capture on film, but here's a quick glimpse.

Art in progress
I've been working on a couple paintings for Griffin's room. They're not quite done yet, but you get the idea.

It's a bird's life
Griffin has been waving his arms lately. I think he's trying to fly.
I've been trying to convince him to wave or clap his hands but he's not convinced. He just looks at me like I'm crazy.

Who's entertaining who?
Griffin gives us some good laughs. Sometimes we're not sure who is entertaining who though.

New noises
Griffin has a bunch of new sounds. He's just started making a "da" and "ja" sound. He also goes "Mmmm" and "FFFFssshhh" a lot.

Cheerios
It can be quite humorous to watch Griffin eat. It's amazing that anything makes it into his mouth.

Toast.
Griffin loves him some toast. If I look away for a few seconds, he'll cram all of the little pieces I put on his tray into his mouth. Same with watermelon and pear. I suspect he prefers his dad's feeding tactic, seen below.

Ball crawl
Griffin likes to crawl with a ball in one hand and a block in the other or a ball in both hands. You can see a glimpse of it here.

Eeesh uuush iiiish
Griffin has a new sound. You can hear it here. You can also see how much he dislikes avocado!

Mother's Day
I got these lovely roses for Mother's Day from Stroller Strides. I'm such a sucker for the multicolored roses. The fuschia and white Double Delights are probably my favorite. I'm not sure what these are, but I enjoyed looking at them on my kitchen counter all week.

Who can resist?
I mean, really? Who could resist this adorable face. I'm going to be in trouble when he learns how to ask for things. Sigh.

Crawling and standing
This video was taken a few weeks ago. Today, he stood on his own two feet for a minute or so. He's adept at getting around now. Rolling over, sitting up, leaning... he can go where he wants to go now. If I don't shut the door or block of the entrance to a room, he's off!

A dusting of lilies
The flowers have been amazing this year! Hundreds of lilies. I'm so pleased that last year's landscaping project turned out so well. The iceberg roses have exploded as well.

Here you get a glimpse of the elusive top teeth. The two center teeth have broken the skin and the next two are not far behind.

Flip Ultra
I just got this nifty new video camera called the Flip Ultra. It's very user-friendly and I'm pleased with it so far. Griffin's top two teeth have broken the skin and he's chewing on everything in sight, including his socks.
BabyG went in the nursery at church today. The nursery worker (our friend, Stef) said he was very attached to the cell phone toy. Like father, like son.

Breakfast at Griffin's
We had a great time in Dallas. BabyG did very well with the plane ride. Only a few minutes of crying each way. It was great to see Matt, Amber, Heather, Alex and Joseph. Another bonus, I discovered the video function of my digital camera. Here's my first video. taken this morning.

Happy Valentine's Day.
We're off to Dallas tomorrow for our first plane ride with BabyG. I'm nervous about holding a wiggly baby for 3 hours. Can't wait to see our dear Dallas friends.
